Hyperion enables layering of up to 16 patches in a combi patch (which can be saved and recalled) with each layer having custom velocity and key zones, transpose, volume, arpeggiator and chord setting, polyphony, note trigger mode, pitch slope, portamento time, pitch randomization and drift.

Layers can be sound generator patches, or they might be effect bus only patches, or they can be data generator/processor patches. Data and aux bus audio from each layer can be freely sent between layers, and MIDI data can be forwarded to other MIDI devices/plugins.

Multiple demo videos of patches and combi-patches, as well as patching procedure examples are available on the Hyperion Youtube channel.

EXAMPLE TRACKS:

Some recordings of patches - straight from Hyperion - no other processing - most of these tracks are just one patch/combi played live.

You can also just directly check out the sound demos/tracks on soundcloud.

A combi patch

Although sounds like multi-track - NeuroChase is just a 2 finger played combi.

(This is just one combi sound, played with 2 fingers...)

OxyExperiment - Another patch that sounds a bit like a multi-track recording, but is actually just a combi with lots of layers including a sequence driving the bass, and some arpeggiator on a couple of other layers + chord effect with specific settings for a few different note triggers.

Granulator - an audio sample (some Shakespeare) in the sample playback node processed by Granulator FX buss effect node and some echo/reverb.

“HyperionSynth” track is the first multitrack test recording I made with an early version of Hyperion synth.
